J. J. Risner is a dedicated sales professional with more than 15 years in the refrigeration and electronics business. He has been serving Kappus Company customers since 2004 as a Taylor Business Consultant. J. J. is an expert in creative leasing and financing. As an experienced consultant, he gives unique insight to owners and operators in making equipment recommendations. His goal is to help his customers maximize profits with Kappus Company equipment.

As Regional Sales Manager of Northwest Ohio, J.J. focuses his efforts on helping many businesses develop exclusive programs in a variety of areas, including ice cream, frozen beverages and ventless cooking systems.

Ken Matt has been a Taylor product concept expert for more than ten years in Northern Ohio. He focuses his efforts in several sectors of the food-service marketplace: including soft serve and gourmet ice cream locations, convenience stores, educational facilities, hospitals, amusement parks, sports bars and full-service restaurants. His approach for implementing high profit programs into existing and start-up businesses has earned him a strong following among his current customers.

Ken is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College and has been with Kappus Company for the past twelve years. In those years of service, he has been involved in an average installation of 100 Taylor units per year totaling more than 1,200.

As Regional Sales Manager, Ken strives to bring new and innovative technology to food service operations working to streamline production and lower food and labor costs. Along with Ken’s experience and creativity, he has the benefit to work with an exceptional service team and dependable parts team. Together they provide valuable support to all current Taylor customers as well as the additional product lines available through Kappus Company.

Larry is an experienced food service professional with unique insight stemming from experience as an ice cream stand operator. Larry understands the challenges food service business owners and managers face.

Larry has more than 30 years in the food service and convenience store industries. His background has helped him to become a leading Regional Sales Manager in Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

Larry is a graduate of Adrian College and has been with Kappus Company for six years. Larry welcomes the opportunity to help you design ways to increase your food sales and profits.

Bruce has combined 20 years of experience as a business owner with food service principles learned in the past four years with Kappus Company to bring a professional approach to fulfilling his customer’s needs. He serves Southwestern Ohio, from Cincinnati to Piqua, and is also responsible for eight counties in Northern Kentucky.

Bruce is a graduate of Xavier University, and as a resident of the area, he is familiar with the needs and opportunities available to create a profitable experience for customers. He is experienced in all the food service concepts that Kappus Company offers including: soft serve, gelato and gourmet ice cream venues; electric and gas grills and frozen slush or cocktail applications.

In conjunction with the support that Kappus Company provides, Bruce has experience in all facets of the industry, from start-ups of new businesses to additional profit centers for an existing location. He primarily focuses on segments of the food service industry such as gourmet ice cream and soft serve, convenience stores, educational facilities, amusement parks, delis, hospitals, restaurants, bar and grills, concession stands and both recreational and sports facilities.
